Shaft Collars - 1/2in Hex Bore

The 1/2in Hex Bore Shaft Collars are used to prevent gears, sprockets, wheels, and other parts from sliding out of place on a 1/2in hex shaft. All REV 1/2in Hex Bore Shaft Collars feature a boss, or bump out, to contact the inner race of bearings that facilitate motion.

To install the plastic 1 Piece Shaft Collar (REV-21-1911), tighten the screw with a 5/32in hex key to secure the shaft collar onto the shaft. The aluminum 1 Piece Shaft Collar - Narrow (REV-21-2900) uses a 2.5mm hex key to tighten and secure onto shafting. For the plastic 2 Piece Shaft Collar (REV-21-1912), the two-piece design allows you to install the shaft collar onto a shaft without having to remove other parts or having access to the ends of the shaft. Tighten the two screws with a 5/32in hex key to secure the shaft collar onto the shaft.

The narrow classification is half the width of the normal shaft collars and offers more options when using them in compact spaces such as intakes or conveyors.
